Australian Chocolate Bars

The other day whilst I was in Islington I visited the Cyber Candy store. I have been to their stores before mainly I visit the one in Covent Garden. I’m not that keen on purchasing sweets and chocolate from other countries as I probably not going to like them so I only buy branded chocolate or what the local’s favourite sweets are. I came across three chocolate bars that I was excited to buy as they were well known brands and they were all imported from Australia. cyber-candy-chocolate-barsI picked up some Australian chocolate bars. I picked up a Giant Cadbury Dream Freddo. They also had a milk chocolate one too. This is made from the Cadbury Dream chocolate and is about the size of my palm. I quite like white chocolate and I think they should do a Freddo that’s half milk and half white as the two go together well.cadbury-dream-chocolate-giant-freddoI bought another Cadbury item which was the Cadbury Bubble bar. I had wondered if they were ever going to create a bubble bar just like Areos. At first I was very keen on it as the mint bubbles just didn’t seem to go with Cadbury chocolate but you soon get used to it and then it starts to taste just like an Areo. I think I would just stick to Areo bars in the future as their chocolate doesn’t have its own milky taste like Cadburys chocolate does.dairy-milk-mint-bubbly-chocolate-bar

All three of the chocolate bars were around £1.10 each which is quite a lot but I really wanted to try some new chocolate that was hard to get in the UK.

Have you tried these before?

I love trying sweets from abroad, but we only have American sweet shops by me, and I’ve never seen these in them. How cool is that white chocolate freddo!

Hey, I live in Australia and found this post. I had to laugh when you wrote you think they should make a freddo that’s half milk and half white chocolate. They have sold them here for AGES! They are called milky top freddos. They are my favourite freddos! I also love caramello koalas!
