A day out in London

I love spending time in London when I have a day off and just spend time exploring and walking all over London. Lipton was giving out Lipton Peach ice tea the other week near Covent Garden. Also on the same day we got a free sample of coke cola which was given out near Holborn station. I love free samples and there are always promotional events going on in London all year round. My trips to London do involve a lot of walking and a lot of food. I love trying new food and visiting food places that aren’t in my local area such as Crosstown Doughnuts.

For a few years now John Lewis on Oxford Street host different events over the summer months on their roof top. In the summer it is turned into a summer garden where you can go and get some sun and have a drink and relax. I love this idea of John Lewis using an unused space and turning it into a great space to share with the public.I also spent time in Regents street park and bought an ice cream from the boat house. To hire the boats it cost £12 per adult for an hour or £10 for 30 minutes. If you get there before midday it’s a lot cheaper. Before heading home I stopped off at Kings Cross Station as I wanted to get a photograph with the Harry Potter Trolley disappearing into the wall.I didn’t end up getting a photograph of myself as the queue was really long but I spent some time looking around the Gift shop that was near by. Before getting on a train home I decided to treat myself to Patisserie Valerie which was up stairs at King Cross Station. My favourite slice of cake to get is the chocolate mousse. I really enjoy days out in London as you never know what your going to come across.

What do you love doing in London when you visit?
